Set within the secluded walls of Shido Academy High School, an all-boys boarding school, second-year student Hayama Takumi finds himself in a secret romantic relationship with his roommate, Saki Giichi, known as Gii. Despite the happiness Takumi feels, a deep fear lingers that revealing his true self might lead to Gii's hatred. Simultaneously, Gii grapples with the pain of their clandestine affection, unable to openly express his love, which slowly makes him doubt Takumi's genuine feelings.

Their fragile secret is further complicated by the persistent attention of Nozaki, a third-year student, towards Takumi. This fuels Gii's jealousy and frustration, threatening to unravel their hidden bond. Beyond Takumi and Gii, other students at Shido Academy experience their own complex emotional journeys. Yoshizawa Michio harbors unspoken feelings for his roommate Takabayashi Izumi. First-year Shigyoji Kanemitsu is deeply drawn to the senior Misuzu Arata, despite constantly being met with coldness. Meanwhile, Akaike Shozo, a mutual friend, quietly becomes the object of affections from upperclassman Shibata Shun, as many emotions intertwine within the academy.
