Description:

The intense crime thriller Matori and Kyoken begins with a brutal drug-related murder at a club in Roppongi, where an overdosed customer stabs a waiter before dying himself. The lethal drugs are traced to Umezawa, a former popular child actor whose life took a downward turn, leading him to become a dealer. When narcotics agents, known as Matori, raid his apartment, Umezawa narrowly escapes but is soon caught by Kurosaki, a man with an abnormally obsessive fixation on drugs. Kurosaki threatens him into becoming his personal spy to avoid arrest. However, Umezawa is then arrested by a police assistant inspector, who also compels him to spy for law enforcement. Thus, Umezawa is plunged into a hellish double-spy existence, caught between the Matori and the police.
