Description:

You're My Pet follows Iwaya Sumire, a twenty-nine-year-old newspaper employee having the worst day of her life. After dumping her boyfriend of five years and getting demoted for punching her boss, she stumbles home heartbroken. Near her apartment, she looks for a puppy she saw earlier but instead finds Goda Takeshi, a twenty-year-old modern interpretive dancer injured and hiding in a box. Drunk and weeping, Sumire mistakes him for her childhood dog, Momo. The compassionate Takeshi helps her home, where their bizarre journey begins. Sumire allows him to live with her under one condition: he must be her pet dog, whom she calls Momo. Living together, Sumire-chan and Momo find solace in each other's company, sharing daily life in a way that gradually heals their emotional wounds and develops into something much deeper. This heartwarming story beautifully captures the transition from a strange pet-owner relationship into genuine love.
