Description:

In the fantasy action film Young Detective Dee Rise of the Sea Dragon, the young Dee Renjie, played by Mark Chao, arrives in the Imperial Capital aspiring to become a law officer. At the same time, Empress Wu, portrayed by Carina Lau, tasks the fiery detective Yuchi, played by Feng Shaofeng, with investigating a mysterious sea monster. When the creature attacks a ceremonial procession featuring the beautiful courtesan Yin, played by Angelababy, both Dee and Yuchi step in to fight it off. Suspicious of Dee, Yuchi has him imprisoned, but Dee escapes with the help of doctor Shatuo, played by Lin Gengxin. Together, they uncover a dark conspiracy involving a poisonous tea from a teahouse owned by Yuan, played by Kim Bum, Yin's missing lover. As Dee and Yuchi track the monster, Yin reveals a shocking truth: the beast is actually Yuan, poisoned by a foreign Prince planning an invasion. Soon, the heroes must face an army and a real sea dragon rising from the deep.
