Set in early Republican China, the martial arts action film Wu Dang follows rumors of a hidden treasure buried deep within Wudang Mountain. An American conspirator, eager to steal this valuable prize, devises a plan by sponsoring a massive Taoist martial arts competition. He brings his highly trained kung fu daughter along to aid his quest. However, unexpected challenges arise when a dedicated Wudang disciple enters the championship to defend their home. As fierce battles rage, rivalries intensify and romantic complications spark between a Korean female Tai Chi descendant and the American conspirator. Soon, the shocking secret of the treasure is revealed: it controls the vital magnetic field of Wudang. If the treasure is stolen, the entire mountain will be destroyed.
