Meanwhile, the student's sister, Ji Eun, experiences a severe decline in her health and is hospitalized. Lacking any will to live, she struggles to recover, consumed by her own sorrow. A significant turning point occurs on the day of the Warsaw Uprising, a date commemorating historical losses. Myung Ji returns to her home in Korea, where a poignant letter from Ji Eun awaits her, hinting at a crucial crossroad for both women as they confront their futures.
