Set in 1937 during the Japanese invasion of China, WangDahua Revolutionary Career follows a thrilling tale of espionage, sacrifice, and survival in occupied Dalian. Underground party member Xiajiahe enters the dangerous zone carrying a crucial radio transmitter. However, a sudden accident at a traffic stop reunites him with his former girlfriend, Wang Dahua. Misunderstanding their interaction as a rekindled romance, Wang Dahua's husband, Tang Quanli, accidentally disrupts Xiajiahe's secret plans, resulting in the arrest of both men. Before being thrown into prison, Xiajiahe manages to entrust the vital radio equipment to Wang Dahua. Desperate to free them, Wang Dahua initiates a rescue attempt.
