Other name: 와이키키 브라더스, ワイキキ・ブラザーズ, 威基基兄弟, Waikiki Beuradeoseu

Description:

Waikiki Brothers tells the story of a struggling musical band going nowhere. After a depressing gig, their saxophonist abruptly quits, leaving the remaining three members—lead singer and guitarist Sung Woo, keyboardist Jung Suk, and drummer Kang Soo—to continue their journey on the road. The band eventually heads to Sung Woo's hometown, Suanbo, a place that was once a popular hot spring resort back in the 1980s. They secure a gig at the Waikiki Hotel nightclub, the main resort in town. While the gig starts off promisingly, bringing temporary hope to the group, trouble begins when Jung Suk and Kang Soo start playing out their worst vices. This compelling plot explores themes of fading dreams, nostalgic youth, and the harsh realities of life. Can the remaining members of the Waikiki Brothers salvage their music, or will their personal demons tear them apart?
