Description:

Usokon follows Yae, an ordinary girl whose life takes a drastic turn when she loses her job, her friend moves out, and her boyfriend breaks up with her—all on the same day. Reaching rock bottom, she is at her wit's end when her childhood friend, Takumi, re-enters her life with an unconventional offer. Takumi proposes a unique part-time job: Yae will pretend to be his wife for six months. He has personal reasons for needing people to believe he is married, and with no other options, Yae accepts the arrangement in exchange for housing and living expenses. This kicks off a fake marriage with a strict time limit. Unbeknownst to Yae, who sees Takumi as nothing more than an old friend, she was his first love. As they live together, Takumi earnestly but awkwardly tries to win Yae's heart, hoping their sham marriage can blossom into true love. Will their temporary facade lead to a lasting romance?
