TVB Wudang Rules follows Pau Kaichung, a former Hong Kong undercover detective who flees to the scenic Wudang Mountains in Hubei, China, after a devastating life setback. Seeking peace, he reunites with his martial arts senior Mo Yeeshan, who runs an inn and martial arts school. She also cares for Ho Chingtung, a mentally challenged man with a mysterious past. Kaichung takes a job as a chef, but tranquility is shattered when Mo Yeeshan's daughter, Lok Yeung, arrives with her students. Lok Yeung and Kaichung share a painful history, but her real goal is to persuade her mother to sell the school to a Hong Kong investment group. To protect her legacy, Mo Yeeshan challenges Lok Yeung to win a competition within three months, faking an injury to force Kaichung to become the instructor. Things turn perilous when Ho Chingtung regains his memory, exposing Kaichung's true identity and placing everyone in danger.
