Description:

In the TVB drama Captain Of Destiny, Cheung Chau police officer Wong Tai Mui gets sucked into a mysterious waterspout during a highspeed motorboat chase, transporting her 200 years back to Qing dynasty Hong Kong. Armed with her smartphone, she aids a notorious band of Canton pirates led by Cheng Yat, his wife Shek Giu, and their adopted son Cheung Po Tsai. Using her knowledge of the future, Tai Mui saves the pirates from a devastating defeat against the Qing naval fleet commanded by Prince Man Ho. While Cheng Yat and Shek Giu remain suspicious of her origins, political schemes back in Beijing involving Imperial Consort Yim and Imperial Consort Shun force Prince Man Ho to abandon his ambitions. When another waterspout appears on the day the tiangou covers the sun, Cheung Po Tsai helps Tai Mui open the time portal to return to Hong Kong, but accidentally falls in, traveling to the future with her.
