Description:

Aoyama, a hopeful new salesman, quickly finds his career a living nightmare. Exploited, berated by superiors, and forced into unpaid overtime, his life becomes a spiral of misery and depression. Convinced his joyless existence is not worth living, Aoyama attempts to end it by stepping in front of a train. Miraculously, he is saved by Yamamoto, a seemingly cheerful man who introduces himself as Aoyama's forgotten childhood friend. Yamamoto's intervention drastically transforms Aoyama's bleak outlook, slowly bringing happiness back into his life. However, as Aoyama begins to investigate Yamamoto's past and identity, he uncovers disquieting inconsistencies. He soon realizes that his savior is harboring secrets, and Yamamoto's true nature is far more complex and unsettling than first imagined, challenging everything Aoyama thought he knew.
