This romantic comedy, set during the reign of Rama 5 Chulalongkorn, introduces Thong Ake, a young man aspiring to be a traditional doctor, deeply studying ancient Thai medicine. His grandfather, an experienced herbal master, retreats from practice after a patient's death, blaming himself and discouraging Thong Ake from following in his footsteps. Unwavering, Thong Ake is determined to prove his capabilities. Adding to the delightful chaos is Chaba, a tough, fearless girl who favors swords over household chores. After encountering Thong Ake's grandfather, she unexpectedly finds herself drawn to traditional medicine and decides she too wants to become a doctor. As Thong Ake reluctantly begins to teach her, their initial disagreements slowly give way to a budding romance, making for a charming tale of healing, ambition, and unexpected love.
