Description:

"Theseus no Fune" follows Shin, a young man whose life was irrevocably shattered when his police officer father committed a murder, forever changing their family's fate. For years, Shin and his mother endured public scrutiny and lived in seclusion. Encouraged by his beloved wife to reconsider his father's story, Shin decides to confront his past. He sets off to meet his father in prison and then visits the original crime scene.

There, a sudden, enigmatic mist engulfs him, sending him back in time to 1989, just before the fateful murder took place. Shin finds himself in the snowy village where the crime occurred, witnessing the warm, smiling faces of his family, blissfully unaware of the impending tragedy. Realizing he has a unique chance to rewrite history, Shin is spurred to challenge the ultimate taboo: changing the past. He is determined to prevent his father's crime and save his family from their devastating future.
