"The Way We Keep Dancing" explores the spirited fight of KIDA, the Kowloon Industrial District Artists, as their creative haven in Dragon City faces an existential threat. For two decades, artists specializing in street dance, music, and graffiti transformed the industrial zone into a vibrant base for their fluctuating show business careers, drawn by affordable rents. Now, powerful real estate developers plot to gentrify Dragon City into a commercial district, escalating rents and inspections to drive the artists out.

A critical turning point arrives when KIDA receives an invitation to integrate street art elements into the "Dragon City Optimization Plan – Fantastic Dance.street." Recognizing this as a tactic by the developers, the artists are torn. Ah Leung proposes a bold strategy: accept the job to amplify KIDA's public visibility, garner support, and negotiate fair treatment. Concurrently, Heyos' master, A Fat, prepares an opposing movement, setting the stage for a dynamic battle over the future of their artistic community.
