Description:

The Sun Beaten Path tells the poignant story of Nima, a soon-to-be groom whose life takes a devastating turn. Waiting at a crossroad for his mother's return, he follows closely behind his brother, who transports their mother on a motorcycle, while Nima drives a new hand tractor. A tragic accident unfolds as his mother's waistband gets caught in the motorcycle's rear wheel, pulling her off the seat. In a heartbreaking moment, Nima's hand tractor, unable to stop in time, accidentally strikes and kills his fallen mother.

Overwhelmed by unbearable sorrow and profound guilt, Nima cannot forgive himself. He embarks on an arduous pilgrimage to Lhasa, prostrating all the way, desperate for inner peace. However, his journey offers no relief from his immense grief. On his return, in a desolate landscape, he encounters an old man. Together, these two individuals embark on a shared journey, crossing a vast no man's land, perhaps finding solace in companionship amidst their burdens.
