Description:

The Suicide Song is a chilling horror movie conceived by Yasushi Akimoto, the creative mind behind the hit One Missed Call series. The story delves into the terrifying urban legend of an infectious song, known as DensenUta, which drives anyone who hears it to commit suicide. This deadly curse is inspired by a real-life Hungarian melody from 1933 that was linked to numerous mysterious deaths. The horror begins when high school student Anzu Natsuno witnesses a classmate end her life on school grounds right after humming a hauntingly beautiful tune. Desperate for answers, Anzu begins to investigate. Meanwhile, Takashi, an editor for a B-grade subculture magazine, hears rumors of the fatal song and starts his own skeptical investigation. When Takashi crosses paths with Anzu, the two are drawn together into a dark, spiral search for the truth, unaware of the deadly forces they are about to unleash as they get closer to the shocking reality.
