Description:

The film "Going Rural" centers on a commerce bureau secretary sent to a rural village for grassroots training, hoping for an uneventful assignment. His tenure takes an unexpected turn when a poisonous vegetable incident puts the village at risk of demolition. As he grapples with this complex situation, a reporter, previously involved in the incident, returns to clear the village's reputation, inadvertently adding to the secretary's challenges. Simultaneously, a manipulative villager tries to sway community elders towards supporting the relocation. Just as the village's removal seems inevitable, a heartfelt farewell ceremony profoundly moves the secretary. Witnessing an elderly woman's emotional goodbye at an unknown soldier's grave ignites his determination to save the village.
