Description:

Set in 1938 during the tense era of Japanese colonial rule in Korea, the mystery thriller The Silenced follows a young girl named JooRan. She is transferred to a secluded all-girls boarding school in Keijyo, the old name of Seoul. While the institution initially appears orderly and the principal projects an image of exemplary behavior, a dark undercurrent flows beneath the surface. As JooRan adjusts to her new life, she stumbles upon a shocking revelation: another student with her same name previously attended the school. Driven by curiosity, JooRan begins to investigate the hidden stories of the girls' dormitory. Her quest for the truth brings her dangerously close to uncovering the school's biggest secret.
