The Pearls of the Stone Man is a touching drama about life after retirement, family connection, and the secrets we keep. After a lifetime of dedicated and serious work, Atsushi retires to the beautiful northern territory of Hokkaido with his wife, Ryoko. However, Atsushi quickly finds himself at a complete loss with what to do with all his newfound free time. When a local lad is recruited to help with the construction, a unique friendship begins to form.
