Description:

The King's Woman is a gripping historical romance drama starring Dilraba Dilmurat as Gong Sun Li, the granddaughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. After Qin troops attack their home, Sun Li and her childhood sweetheart, Jing Ke played by Liu Chang, are forced to flee. However, her breathtaking beauty catches the eye of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng played by Zhang Bin Bin. Captured and sent to his palace, Sun Li discovers she is pregnant with Jing Ke's child, Tian Ming. Surprisingly, Ying Zheng treats the boy as his own. A heartbreaking tragedy unfolds when Jing Ke tries to assassinate Ying Zheng and dies in the attempt. Sun Li, known then as Li Ji, also succumbs on the same day. This leaves their orphaned son, Tian Ming, to escape the palace with Han Shen, Jing Ke's loyal friend.
