When his boss Dae jung mysteriously vanishes after a ship accident, Woo joo is sent to Osaka to finalize his business affairs. On his very last day, a surprising encounter with someone who looks exactly like Dae jung sparks a determined chase through the streets of Taisho. Though he loses sight of the enigmatic figure, Woo joo is drawn by the soulful sound of a guitar to a quaint establishment called Pier 34.

The bar's owner, Snow, bears an uncanny resemblance to Dae jung, and his music brings a flood of memories to Woo joo. Overwhelmed, Woo joo passes out, waking to realize he's missed his flight back to Korea. In a spontaneous decision, he quits his job. Soon after, he meets Haruna, who is learning guitar from Snow. Firmly believing Dae jung is still out there, Woo joo chooses to remain at Pier 34, embarking on an unexpected and transformative journey.
