Description:

"The Ghost of Kasane Swamp (Kaidan Kasane-ga-fuchi)" plunges into a tale of dark retribution. A blind masseur confronts a samurai, demanding the repayment of a long-standing loan. Driven to the brink of insanity by the spectral torment, the samurai tragically takes the life of his own wife by mistake. Overwhelmed by despair and guilt, he eventually seeks his own end, drowning himself in the same cursed swamp.

Twenty years later, the shadow of the past looms large over a new generation. The masseur's daughter, completely unaware of the horrifying history, falls deeply in love with the samurai's son, who has been raised as a humble servant.
