Set during the tumultuous Shenlong Era of the Tang Dynasty, The Fate of Swordsman is a thrilling martial arts movie adapted from the popular online game Jian Wang 3 JX3. The story follows expert martial artist Xie Yun Liu, who is commanded by his master to escort Prince Li Chong Mao to the capital city of Changan. However, their straightforward mission takes a dangerous turn in the Fenghua Valley when they witness Crown Prince Li Chong Jun and Princess Li Hua Wan being attacked. Xie Yun Liu reluctantly rescues them and is invited to the imperial Li family mansion for a celebration. There, he becomes trapped in a web of deadly assassination attempts orchestrated by the warring Wu family.
