Description:

"The Chang'an Youth" follows Shen Yi Yi, a skilled cook whose childhood friend, Shen Die Yi, dies mysteriously from a cough, leaving her life shrouded in secrets. Driven by loyalty and a desire for truth, Yi Yi assumes Die Yi's identity and journeys to Changan Lu Xing to honor a marriage contract. To delay the impending union, she cleverly disguises herself as a man, enrolling in Shangyi Guan.

At Shangyi Guan, Yi Yi encounters Die Yi's fiancé, Tang Jiu Hua, and Yang Zi An, an imperial agent working undercover by the emperor's command. Joined by the second prince Li Xin Yuan and swordsman Du Gu Mu Xue, this unlikely quintet forms "the five sons of Shangyi Guan." They gain widespread fame in Changan for their collaborative efforts in solving numerous strange cases, even bravely confronting the embassy of the East Kingdom.
