In the chilling horror mystery film The Cat, we follow Soyeon, a young pet groomer who suffers from severe claustrophobia stemming from a traumatic childhood experience. Her quiet, ordinary life is shattered when one of her regular customers dies mysteriously inside an elevator, leaving her cat Bidan behind. Out of compassion, Soyeon decides to take the animal in, unaware of the terror that is about to unfold. Soon, Soyeon is haunted by terrifying visions of a mysterious girl with cat-like eyes. As those around her who come into contact with Bidan begin to die under bizarre circumstances, Soyeon finds herself trapped in a living nightmare. Her debilitating claustrophobia makes it harder to escape the eerie occurrences closing in on her. To save her own life, Soyeon must overcome her deepest fears and unravel the dark, deadly mystery surrounding Bidan before the vengeful spirits claim her as their next victim.
