"The Apprehenders" explores the fierce rivalry between two neighboring police stations in Seoul. Constantly compared, these stations have developed an intense competition, each vying for supremacy in crime fighting. The annual Officer of the Year award, accompanied by a substantial cash prize, intensifies this battle. One station's chief, a fearless individual using any means necessary to catch criminals, is determined to win the award for a much-desired promotion, having not graduated from police university. The other station's new leader, a highly respected academy graduate, equally desires the prize money to support his pregnant girlfriend. As they relentlessly compete to apprehend the most criminals, a dangerous serial rapist case emerges. This critical situation forces the two rival stations and their chiefs to put aside their differences and work together, with the ultimate outcome of their collaboration and the coveted award hanging in the balance.
