Tenshi no Wakemae is a heartwarming drama starring Arisa Mizuki as Kurumi, a 35yearold woman who suddenly loses everything in her life. Her world is shattered when her fiance runs off with all of her assets, leaving her with a mere 15000 yen and some boxes of ohagi, a type of rice ball. Feeling completely despairing, Kurumi wanders until she happens upon a construction site. In an act of kindness, she begins handing out the ohagi to the men working there.
