In the mystery drama Tenshi no Naifu, Takashi Hiyama, played by Keisuke Koide, is a cafe manager struggling to raise his four-year-old daughter alone. Four years prior, his wife Shoko, played by Izumi Fujimoto, was murdered by three thirteen-year-old boys. While the juvenile law protected the young killers, Takashi and Shoko's mother, Mayumi Wakamura, faced intense media scrutiny. Now, defying warnings from Shoko's friend Kana Kurashina and cafe employee Yudai Chiba, Takashi begins a secret hunt for the three boys. However, panic arises when someone starts targeting the boys' lives one by one. Because of public revenge threats Takashi made years ago, detectives suspect him of the attacks. To clear his name, Takashi must desperately uncover the hidden truth about the three boys before it is too late.
