Swinging Blossom follows Gu Si Jun, an elderly man frequently disturbed by dreams of a past male romantic interest and the lingering specter of his failed, sexually passive marriage to Cui Fang. Residing in a nursery home, he is often the subject of good-natured teasing regarding Wei Meng Yun, an old woman who openly expresses a romantic interest in him. A significant change occurs when Si Jun relocates to live with his brother's family. There, he takes on the task of helping his nephew, Gu Jia, achieve a lifelong wish: attending an exclusive opening reception hosted by Ma Ming Jin, a celebrated designer whom Gu Jia deeply admires. However, upon their arrival at Ma Ming Jin's company office, Si Jun experiences a profound shock. Ming Jin stands before him, looking exactly like the boy Gu Si Jun knew and loved in his younger years, setting the stage for an emotional and unforeseen journey.
