Suits 2018 is a Japanese drama remake of the popular American television show. The story follows Shogo Kai, an arrogant yet brilliant lawyer working at one of the largest law firms in Japan. Shogo is incredibly successful but cares only about winning his cases. To secure a promotion to senior partner, his boss demands that he hire a young associate. Meanwhile, Daiki Suzuki is a highly intelligent young man with a remarkable memory. After a rough childhood raised by his grandmother, Daiki was expelled from school and banned from taking the bar exam for taking entrance exams for others. Struggling to pay for his grandmother's hospital bills in Tokyo, Daiki turns to petty crimes. His life changes dramatically when he crosses paths with Shogo Kai during the associate interviews. Impressed by Daiki's genius memory, Shogo decides to take a massive gamble by hiring him, sparking an intense legal partnership.
