In "Strange Stories of Liao Zhai - The Land of Lan Ruo," the world teeters on the brink after the fearsome Tree Demon of Black Mountain ravaged three realms, ultimately sealed away by four demon spirits known as the old and sick. This dangerous doppelganger clashes fiercely with the Heavenly Maiden, who begins to vanish. Through the timely intervention of Pu Songling's wife, Zhen Niang, the Heavenly Maiden is transformed, renewing her fight.
