Description:

In the intriguing comedy-drama Nou ni Sumaho ga Umerareta, Keita Orimo, played by Atsushi Ito, is a struggling, old-school man working at an apparel company. Divorced and trying to support his nine-year-old daughter, Keita's life is already stressful, especially since he is on his company's layoff list. He is so behind the times that he still uses a basic flip phone. However, his life takes a bizarre turn when his brain suddenly transforms into a fully functioning smartphone. Suddenly, Keita can see digital text balloons floating in the air and even read private messages sent by other people. This strange, smartphone-like brain grants him incredible access to everyone's secrets but quickly drags him into major trouble at his workplace. As he navigates this chaotic new reality, Keita must find a way to balance his bizarre condition with his personal life. Will this technological curse save his career or ruin it completely?
