Description:

Shiawase no Kioku is a touching family drama about second chances and healing. Years after his business failed, leading to a bitter divorce and his departure from the family home, Taro is struggling to make ends meet. Five years have passed, and his ex-wife Junko, along with their daughters Nanami and Fuyuka, still reside in the house he left behind. Facing financial ruin and unable to pay his rent, Taro desperately visits his oldest daughter Nanami at her office to ask for a loan. As the family sole breadwinner since his departure, Nanami reacts with anger and resentment. However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when Taro shows up unannounced at his former home and moves back in. This unexpected reunion forces the estranged family to confront their painful past and rediscover the true meaning of happiness. Will they find a way to forgive him, or will his sudden return tear the family apart again?
