Description:

The historical drama Sekigahara brings to life the epic clash that ended the Sengoku period. Set on October 21 1600, the film depicts the legendary Battle of Sekigahara, a monumental conflict fought to determine the ruler of a new era. On one side is the Western Army, led by Mitsunari Ishida. On the other stands the Eastern Army, commanded by Ieyasu Tokugawa, who attempts to keep a hold of the nation within his greedy grasp. Although the Western Army is believed to outnumber the Eastern Army, they take heavy losses on the battlefield. Beneath the military strategies lies a hidden truth. Hatsume was sent to spy on Mitsunari Ishida but falls in love with him. This gripping movie explores the personal cost of war and forbidden devotion.
