Description:

"Sammi" is a compelling series centered on a young educated girl whose life takes a tragic turn when her brother accidentally kills her groom over a Mahr payment dispute. To save her brother, Sammi is offered as Vanni, a customary exchange, to the victim's powerful feudal lord uncle, Rab Nawaz. Initially, the victim's father rejects the Vanni, but Rab Nawaz later forces Sammi to marry his young son to enhance his reputation, holding her captive.

Fearing for her own son, Rab Nawaz's wife helps Sammi escape with the loyal servant Rashid to Karachi. There, Sammi finds work and develops feelings for Salar, the son of Rashid's former fiancé, Chandni. However, their relationship is tragically cut short by Salar's death after Chandni discovers their intentions. Sammi is returned to her village, facing extreme danger.

Ultimately, a respected village elder intervenes, ensuring justice for her brother and freeing Sammi from the Vanni tradition. Chandni, before her own death, arranges Sammi's marriage to Aaliyan, bringing a hopeful conclusion to Sammi's tumultuous journey and highlighting themes of justice, gender discrimination, and resilience.
