In the provocative drama Samaritan Girl, high school students YeoJin, played by Kwak JiMin, and JaeYoung, played by Han YeoReum, dream of traveling to Europe together. To raise funds, JaeYoung begins prostituting herself, while YeoJin acts as her manager and lookout. JaeYoung soon compares herself to Vasumitra, a legendary Indian figure who used intimacy for spiritual conversion. Tragedy strikes when a police raid forces JaeYoung to jump from a motel window, leaving her gravely injured. Before passing away, JaeYoung requests to see a favorite client. To bring him, YeoJin is forced into a tragic compromise. Following JaeYoung's death, the past clients are sought out. However, YeoJin's father, Lee Eol, who is a detective, spots the suspicious activity and begins to investigate. This haunting movie delves deep into themes of friendship, sacrifice, and redemption.
