Description:

Ray of Light follows Hao Nan, a 28-year-old whose pool hall business fails, forcing him back into his old teaching profession. Amidst his own frustrations, he meets Ren Zhen, an 18-year-old student disheartened by her exam failure due to her unreliable father. Their initial encounter on a rooftop sees Hao Nan sharing his personal struggles to inspire her. Coincidentally, Hao Nan soon finds himself teaching at Qingyun High School, where Ren Zhen is a new enrollee in his class. Initially, Hao Nan struggles to connect with his group of unruly teens. However, through his unique and persistent efforts, he gradually breaks through their defenses, helping them open their hearts. These young people transform from misunderstanding to cherishing their special teacher, ultimately trusting him to guide them towards their brilliant futures, truly discovering a ray of light in their lives.
