Description:

The gripping film "Phaans" delves into a chilling narrative of injustice and betrayal. Shakeela, a dedicated maid, stays at her employer Nadia's house with her daughters, Zeba and young Farah, to assist with wedding preparations for Nadia's daughter, Hafsa. Zeba, an educated college girl, encounters Sahil, Nadia's son with Down syndrome. As wedding festivities unfold, Zeba's fiancé, Hashim, urgently calls her to a secluded, under-construction building. Despite her initial reluctance, Zeba meets him, only to be brutally raped. Returning home traumatized, her appearance with Samad, the groom, leads to a devastating misunderstanding where he is falsely accused. At the hospital, a shocking twist occurs: a doctor, influenced by Siraj, falsifies Zeba's medical report, diagnosing her with hysteria.
