Set in the 1930s, One Sword Sweeps All is a gripping tale of survival and sacrifice. It centers on three members of the renowned Shengjia Troupe, a famous Beijing Opera ensemble from Huabei. Their lives are irrevocably altered after a deadly clash with bandit Jiang You Cai leaves Zhong Hao's father and teacher gravely wounded. On his deathbed, Zhong Hao's father exacts a powerful vow from his son: never to seek revenge.

Bearing the heavy burden of this promise and profound loss, Zhong Hao flees with his martial siblings, Wen Li Xuan and Zhen Yu Huan, towards Tianjin. Their escape is tragically interrupted when they encounter soldiers, leading to their separation. Zhong Hao is subsequently captured and forced into a Japanese military labor camp, where he agonizingly misses an opportunity to reunite with his beloved Zhen Yu Huan. Years later, destiny brings the trio together once more amidst the chaos of the battlefield.
