Description:

"Okaeri Mone" centers on Momone Nagaura, a young woman from an island in Kesennuma Bay, Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating high school in 2014, she moves to the city of Tome but fails to enter university. While figuring out her path, she starts working as an apprentice forest guide. A pivotal moment occurs when she meets a popular weather forecaster from Tokyo, who reveals the ability to predict the future. Deeply moved, Momone decides to pursue a career in meteorology, diligently studying for the weather forecaster exam. With crucial support from her community in Tome, she successfully passes. Momone then relocates to Tokyo, joining a private weather forecasting company, where she develops her expertise. Several years later, in 2019, a major typhoon threatens Japan, prompting Momone to return to Kesennuma Bay to aid her beloved hometown.
