Description:

The acclaimed movie Oasis tells the emotional story of Jong Du, an autistic man who struggles to fit into society. Incapable of holding a job and constantly facing legal trouble, Jong Du has been imprisoned multiple times. After his release, he decides to visit the family of a man killed by his brother to apologize. During this visit, he crosses paths with Gong Ju, a seriously disabled woman who has been abandoned by her own family. Bound by their shared experiences of profound isolation, Jong Du and Gong Ju gradually form an unlikely but deep friendship. In each other, they find the warmth, care, and closeness they have both desperately lacked. However, as their relationship becomes public, their families and a prejudiced society refuse to understand their bond. Guided by narrow-minded views, they tragically distort this innocent and pure love, turning it into something sick and twisted.
