The movie Northern Limit Line is a gripping military drama set in June 2002, during a time when South Korea is caught in a massive football frenzy. However, taking advantage of the distraction, the North Korean navy secretly deploys two of their patrol boats towards the Northern Limit Line, a highly disputed maritime border near Yeonpyeong Island in the Yellow Sea. Meanwhile, South Korean patrol boat 357 is performing its usual duties in the area, completely unaware of the looming danger. Out of nowhere, the crew finds itself under a sudden and violent surprise attack. This film captures the intense battle that erupted on the water, contrasting a nation's joyous sporting triumph with a shocking military conflict that tested the courage of those aboard South Korean patrol boat 357 at the Northern Limit Line.
