Nirvana in Fire is a captivating historical drama adapted from the novel Lang Ya Bang by Hai Yan. Set in sixth-century China, the story follows a tragic betrayal after the Emperor of Great Liang orders the unjust execution of Marshal Lin Xie, his family, seventy thousand soldiers, and Crown Prince Qi. Surviving the massacre is Lin Xie’s son, Lin Shu, who undergoes medical treatment that alters his appearance and leaves him unable to practice martial arts. Changing his name to Mei Chang Su, he becomes the leader of the Jiangzuo Alliance. Twelve years later, Mei Chang Su returns to the capital with a secret plan.
