Description:

Nemesis centers on a peculiar detective partnership at the Nemesis private investigation firm in Yokohama. While Kazama Naoki is celebrated as a brilliant, Sherlock Holmes-esque mind who cracks every difficult case, the true genius behind the solutions is actually his talented assistant, Mikami Anna. This odd duo, alongside Nemesis owner Kurita Kazuaki – a good friend of Anna’s father – sets out to find Anna’s scientist father, Hajime, after his sudden disappearance. They take on a succession of puzzling, trick-filled cases, each one unexpectedly yielding a hint connected to Hajime’s whereabouts, which in turn leads to a new, deeper riddle. Their relentless search eventually uncovers that the key to solving Hajime's mystery lies in a dark 20-year-old incident. What Anna doesn't yet realize is that both Kazama and Kurita share a secret connection to this very past event.
