In Neko Zamurai Season 2, the former swordplay mentor turned ronin, Madarame Kyutaro, returns to Edo with his beloved feline companion, Tamanojo. Aiming to rebuild his life, Kyutaro seeks a new samurai job with the help of employment agency owner Tenbiki Shiro. However, trouble quickly brews at his tenement housing. The new landlady, Kikuno, strictly enforces her father's no cats allowed policy and highly suspects Kyutaro of harboring a pet. Making matters worse, Kyutaro discovers his room has been overrun by stray cats, which Nekomiyas proprietress Oshichi advises him to keep for luck. As Kyutaro navigates his career hunt and domestic dilemmas, he must deal with an arrogant constable named Kameyama Tsurujiro, a new neighbor named Sasuke who is vying for Tamanojos affection, and his disapproving mother-in-law, Tae, who is unhappy with his arrangement with Oshizu. Can this ronin manage his secret feline family while securing his samurai future?
