In Naruyouni Narusa Season 2, the heartwarming story continues as Eri and Makoto move to a nearby mansion, commuting to the restaurant daily. With Yoko busy with her studies and Sho working as an illustrator, Aya must hire new staff. Assisted by her sister Kuni, Aya employs Nakano Kaoruko, a girl with an attitude problem who moves into Eri's old room.

One day, Yoko gets accepted into a university in Kyoto. Amid the celebrations, an elderly woman named Tatsu tries to leave the cafe without paying. Caught in the act, the homeless and penniless Tatsu offers to work off her bill. Sensing a deeper story, Daigo invites her to stay, starting her journey as a live-in employee.

Tatsu's outspoken nature immediately clashes with Kyoko. She wastes no time lecturing Kyoko about her sloppy attire and bad attitude. Though Kyoko initially resents her, she soon has a change of heart, realizing Tatsu is only acting for her own good.
