In the year 2036, world-famous photographer Ryosuke Fujii, now 31, makes a triumphant return to his hometown for an exhibition of his work. This reunion sparks memories of a fateful summer over 20 years ago when an 11-year-old Ryosuke, Kento, and his cousin Saki spotted a mysterious big black object swimming on the surface of Lake Biwa.
