Moriyamachu Driving School is an engaging movie centering on Kiyotaka Sato, a sociable yet seemingly detached university student. During his summer vacation, Kiyotaka decides to get his driver's license to impress his classmate, Matsuda. Meanwhile, Todoroki, a stoic man who hides his emotions, is ordered by yakuza boss Ken Mitsuishi to get his own driver's license. The plot takes an unexpected turn when an unlicensed Todoroki accidentally hits Kiyotaka with a car. To cover up the incident, Kiyotaka is whisked away to an unofficial driving school run by the Uehara family. At this unusual facility, Kiyotaka and Todoroki discover they actually graduated from the same high school. Bound by this strange twist of fate, the two very different young men end up spending their entire summer vacation together at the driving school, leading to an unforgettable seasonal journey of friendship and unexpected growth.
