Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is a captivating fantasy romance drama adapted from the famous Chinese novel Bu Bu Jing Xin by Tong Hua. The story begins during a total eclipse of the sun when Go Ha Jin, a 21st-century woman, is miraculously transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. She wakes up in the body of Hae Soo, a sixteen-year-old aristocrat living with her cousin, Lady Hae, who is married to one of King Taejo's sons. In this unfamiliar historical era, Hae Soo soon befriends several of the princes. They find her carefree and exuberant attitude incredibly refreshing. Despite her efforts to stay out of dangerous palace intrigues and the intense struggle over the succession to the throne, Hae Soo inadvertently becomes a central pawn in the political conflict as several of the princes fall deeply in love with her.
